Pep brought out the best in Messi. Enrique got Messi at his peak physical condition and when he was more refined. After 2015, Messi really could only improve his playmaking, which he did. I think that improvement was based on the team being less reliant on his goals because of Suarez and when Neymar left and xavi the team needed creativity. So he became more of a creator. What exactly did sampoali do? He was chaotic and played a million different players. An average coach would've done better.
