I've been slapping my cards between 2 plastic cards and vac sealing them to fix the bend. It has been working fairly well for me. I'm using a reusable seal bag with a handheld vac.

I would use a card saver instead of a top loader. It’s more of a snug fit. The top loader has a hard gap that would leave room for the card to stay bent.

But the card savers are not as stiff as the toploaders and more flexible so tbh i would just place bent cards under heavy books

Recently found a Japanese fossil Gengar with some warping from my sister old collection hopefully I can fix it by using one of these methods. Probably going to find alot of the cards in that same binder with having the same problem. Wish me luck

Basically any exposure to moisture is generally not good for card. I wouldn’t let it seat there for too long

I unbent my Yugioh card really quickly by putting the warped card on Playstation 4 while playing a game (put it on the hottest area). Then put something heavy like a book over the card. After a pretty short amount of time, the bend was almost all gone.

Most of my Fossil cards are curving bad, I have kept them in the same type of binder shown in video, I had them in penny sleeves and semi rigid sleeves inside of a hard back book with 80lbs on top to press the cards for 48 hrs and absolutely no change, I don’t see how they curved in my binder and it’s all the Fossil cards I think that type of foil is more susceptible to curling

It’s also the humidity in the room that matters as well. I don’t think 48 hours is gonna do the trick though…

What I would try is put them in the sleeve and tape them around a 55 gallon drum for day or two and see how bending them the other way for a period of time flattens them back out.

I love in colorado and its super dry and! Like humidity is 0 and after sitting out for a few days they curl up pretty bad!

i think when the card is expose to any tiny bit of moisture, it starts to bend!

@@ferzap4c i literally put a humidity tester right next to my cards and also in the middle of the room and it is literally zero % humidity. I've been doing some tests to see and so far my theory is that there is already some moisture in the cards and when I open the pack and leave the cards out, because its so dry here it sucks all the moisture out and makes it shrivel up and curl. I'm going to test my theory by opening a fresh pack and put a card into my dehydration machine and also put a card in a completely sealed container to see what happens. Also going to try to figure out a way to test the moisture levels in the card. Lol you think that would be a good video?

You all are wrong. Put the foils in between the non-foil cards like energies. Then place them in a deck box. Cardboard or thick deck box even wood box. Do not use a plastic box. Lay flat down, not sideways. Store in a dry spot like a closet. You can also place a Damp Rid container in the closet for more efficiency. Wait two weeks to a month and your cards are back to normal.Truth is, the regular cards helps keep the foils from absorbing moisture. People just keep the foils separate from the rest of the deck most of the time. You can thank me anytime you want.

​@@ferzap4cNp. Forgot to add, put as many non-foils in as possible and place them between other non-foils. I usually do 30%foil/70non-foil. The moisture escapes from the cards because the weight of them is enough alone. This is why the 'book trick' doesn't work; the moisture can't escape. Too wide. It's okay for the cards to be a bit loose on one another, as long as there's a bit of weight. No need for mashing. I also finish the top of the deck with the non-foils for weight. It also guards from moisture seeping back into your holos. A small space is key, so feel free to put in a small dry cabinet or even in your binder like your video or even both! The damp rid works beautiful in a small dry area.

i have done a few experiment after posting this video. Basicall if the card is not in a sleeve or binder to protect it, exposure to air over time will bend the card. Air carries moisture and over time the card will bend.

sometimes when packs and boxes have small opening, moisture can get in and that's why cards can be bend EVEN before you open them

Not that i know off...tbh when you put your card into a semi-rigid sleeve and send it to PSA and by the time PSA opens it to grade it, its about a year time, hopefully it straighten up by then haha

Try putting into a semi rigid sleeve and then put weight on it

The top loader won't do anything...... They r thicker at the sides and the centre area holding the cards is flexible...... So no matter wat weight u keep on top, the sides r thicker and won't allow the pressure in the centre to the cards....... Keeping force on top of a top loader is a waste of time......

Go to your local harbor freight buy some 2 dollar C clamps put the card in a book close it C clamp the book for 24hrs

@@ferzap4c Thanks! I actually decided to give collecting another shot lol. I pulled a Minior IR in that first pack and, once the initial shock of the curve faded, realized I loved it to bits lol. Putting it in a card box with some heavy cards in it helped straighten it out too, and now that I know it's mainly from humidity I can take some steps to minimize the curve in future cards. I'm quite excited to start collecting again. It's been a long time. Haven't had any cards since the OG releases. Thanks for the video and response!
