You need some serious pedal and pre EQ to make it usable for that scenario. As standard it needs more output, chunk and that high mid/low treble peak dialed back. Drop a humbucker, a hot passive single coil or something like an EMG SAV then yeah, aggressive metal styles are back on the menu.

@HjaltesBananaFriend The main issue with a lot of metal guitars is that most of the cheapies have floyds for some reason. Those floyds are usually made of pot metal, but a cheap shredder guitar with some upgraded hardware will be better for everything imo.

Very interesting short. The output volume of a guitar depends on its pickup. Usually active and humbuckers have a higher output. Ofc there is a difference in output on how hard you hit the strings

I❤Strat's..... but the glitch about Strat's are, at the bridge of the this particular 🎸is some very sharp parts where's these single adjustable poles which are called "saddles". When you put too much pressure on bending the strings, (mostly the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, very rarely the 4th). Strat's are notorious for popping those first 3 strings. In the late 70's, most packs of guitar strings used to come with an extra "E(1st) string, because of this problem, some guitar string companies used to come with an extra E(1st), & B(2nd) like Carvin, D'Addario, DiMarzio, D'Arco(Funky Lights)...... these one's were my favorites, because they were longer than most strings, and when they would pop at the front of the bridge, you could fix the string, re-tie the ball to the string, tighten it up, make sure that it didn't lose it's tuning, from the tied string slipping. That's why, you used to always keep the back cover of your Strat off, because you always had to change your strings....all the time (this was the main issue of the Strat....oh yeah!.... there's the fact, that you couldn't watch an old TV set, while playing, because the single coil p/u's would always p/u all that ungrounded sound, and it'd be louder than what you're trying to play....it was freaking frustrating! I solved the string bridge popping problem, by finding "Graphite Saddles", and after that I only break strings because of their age, or quality....not because.....I had a String Guillotine for a guitar bridge!...... sheeeesh! 🎸👈😉👍
