Is it true that although property is state-of-the-art there are tons of limitations and issues with trying to program your lightsaber like for instance it seems like it's so hard to create and install these fonts it seems like it's just this huge brick wall for amateurs such as myself but I really love Star wars and I really love lightsabers but it seems like either you get a board that is easy to set up and to customize but has the limitations of not having these incredible blade fonts put on the other hand with the professional board you have so many fonts and styles to choose from the sky is literally the limit but it's so hard to get it done without messing up your whole lightsaber if you're not an actual professional so I stuck with the snv for pro and I'm so glad I made that choice because there is no way in hell that I would ever be able to figure all that out with a profit board and although I'm sticking with my choice I still wish there was a way to customize my lightsabers blade style more in-depth hopefully there will be more updates for the app in the future so that amateur such as myself can enjoy these amazing sound fonts prophet boards come pre-installed with

Is there an opportunity to buy only cores? Because a while ago, I just bought a lot of Neopixel Sabers from different characters. Only now I noticed that some of them are SNV4 and some SNV4 Pro. I probably ordered in a phase where the Neopixel landscape was rotating out the old model and selling the new. Now I would like to, for example, upgrade my Anakin to Pro, because I think the V2 App control is just awesome. So where can I look for specific SNV4 Pro cores, if at all? :)

Yes, you just need to replace the core. You can get it here: superneox.com/products/lightsaber-core Remember to make a note of the core model you need, as it may vary from lightsaber to lightsaber.

Is there a way to filter or search for blade styles? Because in the app it's just a list that you cannot search or filter. Hard to find what you are looking for.

More vibrant, the brightness is determined more by the LED strip (pixel blade).

Of course, SNV4 Pro and Proffie are both pixel cores, you just need to buy the core of same model to replace each other.

Thank you for the video. I just got my SNV4 Pro blade and I am learning how to use but I still dont know how to turn the ightsaber on twisting my wrist as you do on the video. Is there any particular function I have to activate using the app? Thank you.

No, it's gesture control, you just hold down the button, tilt the blade up or down, and rotate it. You can follow the instructions.

I'm looking to buy my first saber in over two decades! I'm 47 and a techie .... So if this is the only saber I buy I'm looking at a proffie! But.... Is it worth the extra 100 ? Is there a good chance you can "brick" your saber? I'm happy with the amount of fonts and sounds etc that come pre installed from theory, so is a proffie only worth it if I want to change or add to the custom soundboard? Do you know if there's a limit? It's an SD card? So can you replace it with a larger capacity if needed? Or is the built in one usually more than enough? I heard somewhere that with snv4 you can switch blade styles easily but with proffie you have to connect it to the PC? Just to change blade styles? Or is that for new blade styles you download? I imagine snv4 uses an app on phone and can transfer over Bluetooth maybe? Thanks for the informative video! (UK fan)

The Proffie and SNV4 Pro in our shop are close enough in price. If you are a technician, I suggest you try Proffie and we will provide you with a resource file and an instructional video. 1. Changing the files on the chip does have the potential to cause the Sabre to "brick", but the probability is very low for a technical professional. 2. The latest core, the SNV4 Pro, already allows for sound font and blade style changes via an app (Bluetooth connection), which is more suitable for most people, you know what I mean? 3. Currently, the built-in 32G SD card is sufficient for the needs, and you can change the SD card as well.The change files for the SNV4 Pro are all saved on the SD card, and some of the files for the Proffie will be saved to the chip. 4. If you just change the blade style, you don't need to connect to a computer/app to do it, You can adjust the effects built into the saber via button or gesture actions. Hey quick question If I ordered a different blade for my V8 from Sabneo will it still work? Bc I already told the company about it but they refused to give me a new one even though the part they sent me broke the blade itself.

Normally, pixel blades can be applied to any pixel core as long as the size is suitable.

Proffie is an open source chip that you can program to customize more soundfonts, lights, colors, and their combination with each other to change the effect and so on.

Proffie is Linux, SNv4 is a curated experience like Windows or MacOS… if you don’t know how to or don’t like to dig into software and do code mods then you should stick with SNv4/v4pro.
