I gravitate more to peat and dirtier malts but between these two, I prefer the SB. The SB18 has always been a great dram. Cheers, Mike

@@thewhiskyfriend Yes Alan and I feel lucky to have been able to get both of these amazing expressions. I was able to buy them both when I was on a trip to Scotland. They are extremely difficult to get in Canada, particularly the Longrow. Both were special and I learned a lot from watching your comparison of these whiskies! Much appreciated! Superb video! The Longrow 2022 is outstanding! Have the Springbank 18 from 2020 and 2021, unfortunately haven't tried the 2022 version. Love them both!

Brilliant H2H battle Alan. Both fantastic Drams. I can just dream about. I wish to buy these at retail prices or win ballot but it never happend. If i must choose one Longrow is closer to my heart. Not big SB fan. 👍😁🥂🙋🏻‍♂️

I have picked these up here in the uk over the last 2 -3 years. Price wise i paid £110 for the sb and £100 for the longrow...its the usual springbank story, if you want these bad enough you can pick them up certainly in the uk....glad you enjoyed the video my friend....

Well, I haven't seen anything from Springbank in Bulgaria since 2020. And even then there were very small quantities of Springbank 10, Hazelburn 10 and Longrow Peated. They were all reasonably priced, but sold out quickly and I could buy just a couple of bottles of Springbank 10. £100-£110 seems very, very nice price for 18 yo Springbank/Longrow BTW.

Dirty dinky dunnage doesn't sound at all appealing.. I find my longrow 18 to be the most interesting whiskey I have
