People were talking about the g cloud as if it was trash a year or two ago --- glad people are coming around! It is GREAT.

The G Cloud is an amazing device for streaming to me. The battery life in this thing is amazing.

PS Play worked well for $5 allowing me to use the Logitech. Great review, I am enjoying both handheld devices very much.

The PS Play app is my go to app over the official one. Thanks! I like using both as well, but I've been using the G Cloud way more ever since I got it.

Im not really into the cloud streaming but if i had to choose between these two devices...i would go for hte logitech g cloud cause least with it, it can be more than just a streaming device for the playstation.

I preferred the G Cloud over the portal & that's because I use it to play remote play my XBOX as well, but if you only want to remote play your PlayStation 5 then get the portal for sure.

@@HBTang well i have a ps5, ps4, switch oled, and switch lite. All that i share with my brother but i find myself more on my oled as of late and on occassion i will game on my ps5. Shame the logitech g cloud isnt $100 or least $50 cheaper than its current prices. Their are other similar products on market like ayn odin 1&2 and upcoming ayn android handheld but one thing about logitech you can least find it available at certain stores. Shame the internal memory for it isnt very impressive.

I would suggest buying G Cloud second hand through Facebook market. That's what I did. Some time the G Cloud is on sale for $250 brand new.

While I don't have either device, I think it's important that the Portal requires a PS5, while the G Cloud can run Game Pass games through the cloud, as well as various android apps.

The G Cloud can do way more things than a Portal. Even if PS5 remote play is the only thing I wanted to do & I don't have neither devices. I would get the G Cloud over the Portal that's just me personally. In general though I would advise other people to pick the Portal for the full haptic feed back & the ergonomic of a PS5 controller.

You have to use a 3rd party app to work with the G Cloud if you want to remote play your PS5. I personally used an app called PS Play which is like $5 & it works like a charm.

The ps play app is much better than the official app running on the portal. The connection and quality is alot better. G cloud for the win.

I like the PS Play app more as well. I haven't touched my Portal in months. Been using the G Cloud more.

@@HBTang I turn off rumble, brightness is between 50-70%. I am mostly indoor, I don’t need max out brightness. I’m surprised I waste half a day playing RDR2. I kinda wish to buy G-Cloud, the price is a bit high and wish for the screen to be 8 inch. The Portal had spoiled me.

I play everything on max brightness. Same goes for the G Cloud. I know what you mean. Being able to just sit on the couch & play your game has been wonderful. Sometime the G Cloud goes on sale for $250 or you can do what I do & buy one off Facebook Marketplace. Ever since I got the G Cloud, I haven't used my Portal.

Steam Deck is at least twice the cost of a portal. If only used for streaming, getting a steam deck is the worst option to go
