Should change the title on how to use a sawzall 101.

Yea good idea. The video does show a lot on how to use a saws all.

I do a lot of branch trimming in the yard with my sawsall. Can the hacksall handle that? Obviously nothing too big but it’s very handy where a chainsaw would be overkill.
@ThePlumbingGurus2 жыл бұрын
Yes I think it can. Maybe get a 8amp high output battery abs you will have no problems
@rlee69842 жыл бұрын
Yes!! Also get a pruning blade to utilize its full potential.
@ickess2 жыл бұрын
@@rlee6984 I actually wound up going back with a sawsall. Dewalt was having a sale at lowes and I was able to get a driver, drill and sawsall for a good price. The pruning blades to help for sure

I hadn't thought about the impact of cutting long and difficult jobs with my cordless, I know that I run out of batteries quickly. I do have a corded, but just too lazy to get it out.
@ThePlumbingGurus5 жыл бұрын
+Traveling with a chair ya I rarely bring out the corded. I have like 9 batteries though 😃 thanks for the comment!

Well done for drawing attention to where not to put your fingers by mistake. I made this mistake the day I got my first recip saw. Battered my finger to hell, had to soak it in numbing cream over night to be able to sleep.
@ThePlumbingGurus18 күн бұрын
Great tip. Sorry about your finger

Hackzall or sawzall? That is like asking hammerdrill or impact driver: they have some similarities, but at the end of the day you will want both!
@ThePlumbingGurus3 жыл бұрын
I have not used my hacksaw in years. Absolutely no use for it anymore.

@@ThePlumbingGurus I love the hackzall for pruning and cutting over padlocks, in both cases it is often needed to hold the workpiece with one hand.

Just cut through some 3/16 angle iron and was vastly surprised by how well the hackzall did. I started with the deep cut band saw by Milwaukee (corded) and it took forever compared to the hackzall. It wasn't even the fuel version. I was very impressed and will be getting one soon.

I like this video. Consider the "Burton Guy" tries to not talk-over, cut off, or finish the the Adidas guy's sentences. It makes it harder to understand. Thanks.

That MFK on the left seams really intense. Don't get me wrong. Looks like a really decent guy. Absolutely no offence intended.
