We thought before we bought our Diesel pusher that we didn't need all the amenities of our home. WRONG, We have the dishwasher, washer and dryer, and Wine refrigerator. Mind you, we still have our home in Shawnee, but we do travel 3 mos a year and we have to have those finer things in life. So I'm told by my wife, lol. We also tow a trailer 30ft enclosed. So we have our garage with us. In it her corvette, my Harley and our golf cart plus our 2 electric bikes. So, we definitely need our toys. Love your channel.

I am single and wanted my first rig to be my getaway place. Not full time. Permanently parked at a place where I would feel safe. I was sure I wanted a kitchen in the front but fell in love with one with a kitchen in the back. Two electric fireplaces, a window seat, and a bathroom next to the bedroom so I didn’t have to crawl past people to get to the bathroom at night. Plenty of room with a cabin like feel. I have had almost a year. Venture 2021 SportTrek 272vrk.

Only issue with the rigs that have huge deep slides is when closed those slides come all the way in. Not much of an issue if it is a couple and you can slide them out when you stop, but if you have a family they do not provide room for many people. The desk table is something that has been in the Busses for decades. Marathon has a couple designs of them. If you see a buss like a Prevost not a schoolie you will see that busses and Class A are not the same. A true buss is a million mile rig made into a classy home, a Class A can be very nice but very few have the structure of a full stainless steel structure.
@scottgeorge6428
@scottgeorge6428 2 жыл бұрын
Actually, when the slides are fully in there is plenty of room to sit on couches, walk all the way to bedroom use bed, use and open bathroom door fully and open fridge door fully, maybe older school class A’s did close all the way but we have had no problems using rig closed up, matter of fact we have found it very convenient on the road at rest stops. Thanks for sharing your comments.
@badgerpa9
@badgerpa9 2 жыл бұрын
@@scottgeorge6428 It is nice if they have seatbelts in the slides couches then and you can have multiple people in there, most manufactures have a disclaimer in the user manual not to use slides when they are in but to put them all the way out. I am not sure what you mean by school Class A because a schoolie or remodeled school bus is not a class A, the class A is built to be a class A, a buss is different and busses go from school busses to the Marathon Prevost. Having the fridge open is not unusual as they are often not across from a slide. If you have an issue with the slide and go in under warranty hopefully then they will no longer say you should not use them with the slides in.
@scottgeorge6428
@scottgeorge6428 2 жыл бұрын
The couches and theater seats have seat belts and I’m not sure what manufacturer your talking about but Tiffin makes the rig enjoyable when the slides are closed and your traveling. We can safely transport 6 people with seatbelts while traveling. I meant older class A’s, that was a type error. I understand the difference of Class A’s and remodeled school buses, Have you looked at a new Class A ? Never heard of any manufacturer telling customers to no longer uses with slides in. Otherwise why would there be seatbelts in the rigs for travel? Hope you find this info helpful, I think you should speak to a Real rep from a reputable company like Tiffin.
@badgerpa9
@badgerpa9 2 жыл бұрын
@@scottgeorge6428 Well thank you I know about Tiffin, I hope you stay as happy with them in the next few years. Many including Tiffin have slide locks no one tends to put in and it is great if they have room for a family. More manufactures are starting to copy the high end makers and making slides they do not say not to use the coach etc in transit. Watch older Tiffin videos on YT there are recordings from tiffin telling people not to use the slide unless they are out and to have the extra lock in when traveling. Tiffin was well known for slide issues, glad you are happy. You seem to know more about them than anyone including their history, very happy for you.
