Well, you really feel the HomePod sound, its volume, and definitely its Bass, that much more! No contest!!… but that said, because I have 2 minis, the stereo pair makes you appreciate the music that much more!… I heard the HomePod 2nd generation for the first time at the Apple store today, and was taken back and would totally buy a stereo pair of them if it were not for the significantly increased price. Too bad, but I can dream for the day when I can afford 2 of these HomePods. That will be a very, very fun day!!😁... Thanks again though for the excellent review; very much appreciated!!👌👍

I really like my HomePod 2. I also have a HomePod mini in bedroom. The HomePod 2 has very rich sound and bass. The music you can feel. It’s so room filling. The HomePod mini is also great for background music which is why it’s in my bedroom. The HomePod 2 is for high fidelity audio listening.

I love them! It’s not always advisable to have headphones in all the time. It could be dangerous to our health in the long run. As an avid lover of music, having a HomePod would be ideal to play music out loud sometimes and enjoy myself

I’m happy with my 2 mini’s I’ve set as stereo pair for my tv. Going to buy some more for the rest of my house. The HomePod has better sound, but the price is a bit too high, certainly for my use.

Me too. I had the one HomePod mini and adding a second really provided a great sound for my TV using Apple TV 4K. For the price of one HomePod I bought a new pair of passive bookshelf speakers for my primary audio system using Apple Music Lossless. You simply can't listen to the higher lossless recordings with any Bluetooth speakers. If you live in an apartment, having a clean and robust sound at lower volumes is more important that top-end loudness (unless you want to get evicted 🤨).

if the budget doesnt exist i suggest a stereo pair o fthe homepod2 and mini's around the house , such as bathroom kitchen and bedroom for the ecosystem....

@j.xxsj I used to have a Homepod Mini but I got rid of it sometime last year, It was a great smart speaker and I’ve grown to regret selling it. I think if you’re going to get a homepod, the Homepod mini is the better choice, not only for its price but it’s as good if not better than the $300 Homepod. (You could get roughly 3 Homepod Mini’s for the price of 1 Homepod.) You’ve also got more color options… As to the give away, the iPhone 14 Pro is very impressive phone. I’ve used an iPhone 14 Pro and I can say that it’s as close to perfect as you can get.(Aside from the battery issues) This phone would be a great gift for someone and it’s what I plan to do if it ends up in my hands. 🤩

in my opinion, mini is a great smart speaker for listening to audio in normal day to day scenario, which is mostly the case with me. however, if someone wants 10x sound experience, kinda like a party scenario where they want louder and clear audio, may be that's when HomePod 2 will be useful. am I correct?? @misterketley

I’ve got 2 Minis that are smart speakers and also help control my Thread -based Apple smart home. They’re in separate rooms, so aren’t used as a stereo pair. Personally, if I needed more, I’d probably stay with Minis - especially as you can get 3 for the price of 1 big one. @pug_63 🤞🤞🤞
