I just ordered the on3 t4 kit for the sound and the money spent . I’m planning to use the 67 mm turbo until it fails , then I’ll get a name brand turbo . What ar housing did you run on your 6266 and was it v band turbine housing ? I’m new to turbo stuff and I’m confused what they mean by t4 if it’s just a vband . I thought t4 was 4 bolts and an open hole .

I know they are going to stop selling the kit soon but Do not get the t4 kit if you want to run 6266 or any other standard vband sized turbos . I returned the t4 kit and got the t3 kit from on3 .. problem solved .

I’m really happy with my doc race kit but naturally I had to buy it right before they dropped the price $1000 dollars. And also I had to custom make a AN oil drain line because it was still the heater hose so glad they made that change, but Either way I’m happy with the kit and especially the sounds it makes!

It’s not a stupid reason for you to sell one kit & buy another! If you like the sound of the Doc Race kit over the Speedtech, I don’t blame you, it’s your car, you paid for it & you have to listen to it while you drive it! I’m going single turbo very soon, I’m up in the air for a few different reasons. Definitely deciding between Docrace & Speedtech, wether I go top or bottom mount is still up in the air. I’ll make some videos of my car when I get the kit, keep it under 170….✌🏻😄💪🏻🏁

Sadly, Docrace doesn't make a N55 kit for the F chassis or I'd go with them. Speedtech, as you've said, is not to be slept on for sure. I'm thinking of doing a G30-900 (6255 equivalent) with the 1.06 twin scroll exhaust housing because I'm trying to only go for ~500WHP on 93oct & water meth injection since I don't have consistent access to E85 near me. My math says I'd be running ~20-21psi of boost, which should be safe with that fueling if I'm not mistaken. You think that's a realistic goal, or should I size up to a G35-900 (6262) on the same hot side for pump gas & meth? I just want something super responsive with a little more grunt (daily use with spirited driving & maybe occasional track use), but I'm not trying to set the world on fire, especially since I don't want to travel for/buy barrels of E85.

@@F80carlos I have a 2007 335 mt. Been stock it’s entire life. Running a stage 1 MHD stock tune. It has 142k miles. You think going single turbo would be a bad idea? (Would it cause the engine to blow even if I had it tuned safely for under 500hp?)

Have you heard of the JMC Tuning single turbo kit? It has a really well designed manifold that makes it sound even better then the doc race. Its super expensive but I might get it instead of a doc race. It straight up makes it sound like a 2JZ.

Yeah I mention it in the video. It's an equal length manifold that's why it sounds good, but me personally I like the way doc race sounds more that's why I went with it. Both kits are solid though

How is your Low end Torque on the bottom mount. If you were to upgrade your Turbo by itself how long do you think it would take to swap out Turbo

@@geo745don full boost kicks in 3.5k but my tuner tuned the torque down a little to protect the rods. Haven't dynoed it yet. Installation took 40h when my brother and dad worked on the car. But they also replaced a lot of parts, so I would say 30h would be realistic.
