@@ConstrictorDevlin I did, on my first playthrough at Heide's Tower of Flame, the dragon (scholar of the first sin exclusive) gave me a hard time, but I also really liked the other enemies and felt like farming some level ups, so I could powerstance two greatswords. So I completely emptied the area for I believe about 800 thousand souls (with the silver serpent ring), got a lot of levels and finally bodied the dragon with full health, full estus and (I believe) two bastard swords :D Also, on multiple occasions, when an area was giving me a hard time overall I'd consistently find that the first few enemies or rather all enemies leading up to my first few deaths in the area would all disappear at the same time, which had a very noticeable impact the first time I fought my way through no man's wharf.

You can go to NG+ to respawn all the enemies, so it must be infinite. I don't know if it's infinite in a single NG cycle though.
