I'd say it is honestly fitting to eliminate Yoshi in the marbles round, since he didn't make an appearance in the movie, but will show up in the sequel film. Although I don't think Yoshi is easy to manipulate cause he does outsmart Bowser in his own games, and has all the abilities necessary to win. Just not right now, due to not making an appearance yet.🤷🏻‍♂️

I honestly guessed Diddy Kong wouldn’t survive, because he seems to have a lot of energy, just like in his home series. Do you remember when he almost got turned into a trophy when confronting Bowser to get his bananas back (the first time) and revenge Donkey’s kidnapping (the second time) in the Subspace Emissary? Yeah, if Donkey and Fox McCloud respectively weren’t here, he would likely be abducted too. And that’s not including the third attempt kidnapping, where Bowser successfully shot Diddy. (Thank goodness Falco Lombardi saw that Fox was in danger and intervened to rescue both him and Diddy.)

If it were to be something like "If we had a nickel for everytime this person won in a Squid Game video, we'd have two nickels. It's not a lot but it's weird that it happened twice" then it wouldn't be as fitting and it would be a lot more lame as a result.

I feel Bowser got kind of jipped, going out in the honeycomb challenge. I won’t deny the points made about his impatience or temper, but movie Bowser’s extremely dexterous, canonically playing the piano at multiple points showing a clear control over his claws and strength that he doesn’t just smash it. He would have still gone out in Marbles, cause he straight up got tricked by Peach, or Glass Stepping Stones, dude’s ego is to the moon. But he could have gone further I feel.

Out of all he characters I think that Kamek would win. He has the best balance of intellect and raw power. Peach is a good runner up too, but she wouldn't have any defense against opponents like Bowser or DK in physical contests like tug o' war. Meanwhile Kamek's magic is powerful enough to pick up Bowser.

Even if Goombas somehow managed to make it pass the honeycomb challenge, they would NOT make it pass the Tug of War challenge. I could see the goombas trying to bite the rope with their mouth but with how Small they are, they end up failing and falling to their deaths.
