The fact Daicos is still doing what hes doing while so many are missing is impressive Bulldogs invested hard in curtailing Daicos and he eas still huge, people were fawning over Bont's performance but it was about what you would expect from a great player when the opposition had no big bodied midfielders available to try and play a defensive role on him at all

More impactful via their statistical rankings yeah, he's probably the most impactful key forward when he gets the ball. Either kicking goals or getting assists, marking a kick down the line and turning it into a score is insanely impactful. He does it pretty consistently so I'm not surprised hes that high ranking wise

Can you people try to understand the ranking system please? And realize it doesn't mean they are trying to say "better player"? It is pretty simple. If you have a bloke clunking marks on the wing and starting possession chains that turn into goals that's more valuable than 5 possessions that go no where? Yes Daicos is clearly a more mobile, athletic, skillful, intelligent footballer. But because he has more of the ball he makes more mistakes and more turn overs. The ranking system says nothing about individual skill level.

The rating described does not reflect the total value of a player but merely comparing similar players. Daicos gets more disposals in one game than Naughton gets in a month. I am a WB fan and recognize Daicos as far more skilled.

I haven’t seen much of Daicos but the one of two games of his I watched his disposal was horrible. The other one was much better but turning the ball over hurts your team and that seriously needs to be taken into consideration.
