To me the biggest winners were Detroit, don’t forget that have the biggest cap space going into the off season too. @@chosenone543 They got Laravia, Roddy and Chandler. So that means grizzlies dont have to sign Jones and Anderson, who will ask for more money as Jones reported he wants to be a starter. Laravia will play the same role as Anderson and Chandler will play the same role as Jones. So approximately the Grizzlies can have 20-30M cap space and still got role players.

I think they did pretty bad actually. Chet over Jabari is super risky considering Chet's ceiling isn't really that high due to his frame. Ousmane Dieng was terrible in New Zealand and they traded three first round picks for him. Jalen Williams was a pretty safe pick who doesn't project to be a star in this league. Presti might actually ruin that franchise if he's not careful lol.

As a Thunder Fan, I think both OKC and Detroit are equally tied for winners OKC got 3 lottery picks in this draft including Chet who could easily end up being the best player in the draft Although Detroit only got 2 Lottery picks, the fact that they somehow ended up with Jaden Ivey was such a huge and unexpected win for them. At least with OKC we all knew they were getting Chet, but them somehow getting Ivey is crazy for them

OKC and Detroit had very good drafts. Stephen A right about OKC though, all those great players and names that have been on OKC in the last 15 years and not only do they not have a championship but they only have ONE finals appearance. Hopefully their new core can change that

Hes not right because the ONE season OKC was favored to make the Finals, they did. And that was in 2012. Having good players is one thing, but when youre going up against the dynasty Spurs or 73 win Warriors, you realize a lot of luck is needed. Russ hurt in 2013, Ibaka in 2014, KD in 2015. Thats BAD luck.
