I bought a Series X in August 2022 at GameStop and it has satisfied me up to this point, but, when the 2TB Galaxy Black model became available for pre-order, I made my purchase on Microsoft's official website and now I am waiting till the 15th for it to be delivered and when it comes, I am going to put my original Series X up for an eBay auction after I have transferred all my games and data to the new console. I probably didn't need the Galaxy Black Xbox, but, I liked the way it looked as well as the storage and it is the next best thing to the Halo Infinite console that I missed out on, so, I will be enjoying the new console provided the scalpers didn't muddy their hands with it.

I got the Series X at launch and was gifted a Series S some time later. The Series S rarely got used - until I got the xScreen for it. Total game changer. I bring it everywhere when I travel for work, and find myself using it a lot at home too. I have the 2TB expansion card for it, and have recently upgraded the internal storage to 1TB.

I had a series s at launch because of the difficulty I had getting a series x. Scalpers suck lol. But I got a series x eventually and I can't go back. I buy most of my games physically. So between that and the extra power it's just the way the go. I kept the series s for my son's room though. Still a great system.

I've noticed that there's an unreasonable amount of people with damaged hdmi ports on the series s meaning they seem to break pretty easy. I have the series x however and am pleased.

I hope StarCraft gets the same love that Halo and Gears gets… Love to StarCraft 3 as well as StarCraft shooter like space Marine 2 Maybe get saber interactive to make the StarCraft shooter Get a ubi soft to make StarCraft ghost about Kerrigan make it like halo Or even a stealth game like a splinter cell… Hope to see StarCraft 64 remastered for console with new levels bigger story line for console in the same style that it was so no huge budget involved with that game… Hope StarCraft and StarCraft 2 come to consoles soon not just pc…. In the last year spent 2500 hours playing halo wars 2 on my series x I love that game but I do love StarCraft even more can’t wait for it on game pass but on console please….

Would love to see xbox push the quality of their now inhouse studios especially on their consoles. Bethesda needs a proper quality control and community manager that clears up some communications about plans to fix their older games like fallout 4. Like i was so happy to convert from Playstation at release of the series X but since then... quality of games keeps disappointing... especially from the inhouse studios 😢.

Series S if you have 1440p or lower resolution, don’t care about physical games, or you’re new to Xbox/Game Pass. Series X if you CC want physical games, 4k and/or 120 hz display, or you have physical Xbox games from prior generations.

If u enjoy old games get a low end PC and play them there because then you wouldnt have to pay a fee for the online plus u would be able to play the old games for free as well Plus youll have access to more games than Xbox would offer you

It depends really because, the series s doesn't have a disk slot to put in disks, and even on game pass ultimate membership doesn't have much classic games available, so I kinda agree on the guy above me suggesting to buy a pc instead because almost every classic game is on there, idk or get a series x because it has a disk slot 🤷‍♂️

@@SaiceSTW it depends really because both of the series doesn't have much of a difference to me other than performance wise and a disk slot for the series x, it's entirely up to you but if I really wanted a Xbox but that has a disk slot for older games I'd get a series x just because of that, downsides on the series x for me is how big it is and that its much more expensive than the series s. I don't have either series yet since I'm still on old gen, just saving up to get one lol

If you have the money get the series x with disc drive not the new one the series s is ok but you'll eventually want to get the X the series s can look blurry in some games if I'm you I'd save up more to get the series x but if you cant wait then get the S you can find them cheap on offer up and Facebook same with the series x you can find a used one for like $250-$300

Don’t waste your money on the XSS. It was a waste of time and of resource for Microsoft to make this console. It’s has caused game delays to launch on Xbox due to optimization issues and performance is subpar compared to the XSX. You can find the better XSX on sale!!
