Hey there Adam. The "Kicap Manis" is actually a Malay word/language from Malaysia/Indonesia. Kicap in english is called soy sauce. Manis in english is called sweet. So basically, Sweet soy sauce. Hope that helps!

Bit of advice for the ramen burger: don't wash off the noodles to cool them, it washed away starch; that's why it was a bit too soft and didn't toast well. Use half an egg instead of a whole egg; could even do it with just the white.

Kecap manis is the magic sauce in Mie Goreng, which, if you haven't tried it already, you should (since you have a bottle of it now!) They do sell it in an instant noodle form, but it's super easy to make from scratch, and it's easily one of my favorite noodle dishes.

Naming a channel using your own name, like Joshua Weissman also did, is his prerogative, but it’s plain and boring IMHO. I like Pro Home Cooks, Not Another Cooking Show, Sous Vide Everything, etc. Those are creative and interesting names. Adam creates phenomenal content and he should have an equally impressive channel name. Perhaps, he can come up with something clever incorporating his name like, for example, “Creating Edible Shit With Adam Witt”. 🤷🏻‍♂️🤣 If you’re still reading this nonsense, Adam, I hereby relinquish the IP rights to the CESWAW name. Ketjap Manis ( or Kecap Manis ), is an indonesian soy sauce that just straight up mean sweet soy sauce, idk the difference between normal sweet soy sauce in the market and the indonesian authentic one, maybe the thickness?, but the origin is when chinese trader came to indo and realized indo people like sweet thing, so they remade their soy sauce and put palm sugar, then the indonesian sweet soy sauce "Kecap Manis" was born.

Personal what I would like would be Matty - 1. Because he's Canadian and 2. I don't like super sloppy burgers. This had the right amount of slop for me. Second place would be JW - I like the flavour combo used but far too sloppy. It was sliding on its own! Third, Guga - for all the reasons you discussed.

Hard to tell. Joshua's patty wasn't quite a smash but still well done looking for my taste. But he had the best toppings. Guga had the best patty. But Matty seemed to be the sweet spot of Patty and toppings. Although I agree. Im not a bacon on burger guy

Hey, just here to try and save someone a hospital visit. We can eat steaks medium rare because all the bacteria and bad things that can make you sick live on the surface of the meat and is cooked off. However. once you grind the meat all those nasty things that can make you sick are THROUGHOUT the meat now and it should be cooked all the way through. Hope this helps someone!
