So, I’ve probably performed this tune hundreds, if not thousands, of times in large and small venues since its release. What I noticed is that I was missing some notes that actually make the song so precious. I’m subscribed now and am playing all the notes thanks to your video. I’m hoping viewers understand how perfect you captured Clapton’s feel; and how brilliant your playing is. Thanks Kenji!

I’ve seen dozens and dozens of people play this lead and even if they get the notes right they usually get “the feel” wrong… but you absolutely nailed it! It was a joy to watch you play this lead.

This is the nearest to the original, the only difference is that he is not Eric Clapton but Kenji. This is one sure demo that you don't need an expensive american made guitar to sound terrific. Get a decent one then combine it with an amazing skill and it will be heavenly.

If you can play this, would you consider yourself an intermediate or beginner still?
@matzekoebele4 жыл бұрын
Hey Sir! I don’t know how much you know about guitar playing or music in general and I surely don’t want to confront you in a bad way. But there’s a whole lot of difference between “playing” and playing. In the case of this example, he is clearly killing it, in the best possible way. There’s a lot you can do „wrong“ in case of timing, articulation, vibrato, “feeling” etc. For a pice like this you need a lot of techniques, that consider a lot of hard work/ ours of effective practice. So I think a advanced beginner or an intermediate Player with a good amount of practice can manage to get all the notes right. But to perform this pice like this 👆🏻... you definitely have to get into the advanced intermediate/pro area for sure. Best wishes and keep practicing, a “becoming pro”! ;)

anybody know what guitar he's using? I can't seem to find it
Interesting but to play clapton's part you just had to not play since he did NOT play on the original but merely played George's part for John in studio before the song was recorded so John would allow it on the album. John at this point was giving Ringo and George smaller and smaller roles and rarely entertained their offerings. This was confirmed by George Martin shortly before he died. They essentially tricked John into thinking it was written by clapton. But Clapton was in another country when the song was actually recorded. The recorded version is just the 4 Beatles even Clapton has admitted this in interviews.
