Story time: at one of their gigs I found an all access pass on the floor, so after being drunk enough I thought it would be a good idea to go backstage and ask them for a group photo. So I did, I explained that I found this pass and all I want is a photo and I'll leave. They were obviously a bit weirded out but laughed it off, said they would probably do the same, and Sean was actually the person that called Loz over for the photo AND gave me one of his signature picks. I went to an In Hearts Wake gig a few years ago, and Loz and and I think Mat were manning their own merch stand at the end of the show, and I had a chat to Loz and got a photo with him. They’re very nice guys.

I think Alexi Laiho was the reason i started playing like 12 years ago, but i definetely did not start with playing metal songs let alone technical stuff like children of bodom guitar. It's a good thing it's a long road, more fun on the way and actually the road never really ends because there's always something new on guitar to learn or master!

Sean Long is a great guitarist and he's right in what he says, a good soloist doesnt make a good guitarist, his riffs have emotion and are one with the song and make the songs what they are. I'm exactly the same about harsh vocals. I'll sing along to the riff instead of the vocals a lot of the time lol. I'm getting more into the vocals now but definitely when I started listening to heavier music, the guitar had to be pretty fucking good or else I wasn't listening to it.
