Hello! Great examples! There's only one thing you need to review. When using "meanwhile" you need to have 2 sentences. It cannot be in the middle of a sentence. 🤩👍

Ohhh I'm sorry to hear that.😰 Here's an easy way to understand it. During + event/time During the festival. During the night. While + sentence While I was shopping. While the mechanic fixed my car. Does that help?

Hello! You have to remember that meanwhile is at the beginning of a new sentence. In quiz question 7, the sentence is a continuous sentence, not 2 separate sentences. Does that make sense?

I think it should be; -"Someone CALLED you while you were out". Or. - "Someone CALLED you UP while you were out". # Because "to call for" means something else.

Hello Fredy! It's been a while. I hope you're doing well. Here's the difference in meaning between the 2 sentences. "Someone called you while you were out." - This means that someone called your phone and possibly left a message or even spoke with you while you were away from the office (but it doesn't specify whether they reached you or not). "Someone called for you while you were out." - This means that someone called the office (or location) and specifically asked for you, but you were not there at the time.
