Each to their own but me and the missus thought it was busy, incoherent, dark and forbidding, but would make a great setting for a horror film.

Agreed. We have to be careful as homeowners not to make a house reflect our personality completely throughout a home, just incase we sell. Sure, little touches but not to this scale. You are literally stepping inside that person’s life and the making their house your home? Weird. Yes, you can change things here and there, but at what expense? The wealthiest person on earth knows a deal and knows how to spend wisely. The amount of money it would take to make it yours, especially with all of the custom add ons, it would be difficult and not cheap. The spaces inside this home would give me hyper anxiety with all the patterns and loud colors. Very tailored to the owner. Happy he got it to where he wanted it. He should have built from the get go though and then never sell.
