I'm fairly well-versed in the fame function, since it's one of my favorite ways to play. Low key, one of my favorite perks is the fan mail one, not because of the adoration but because of the possibility of the "fan" mail quirk, where haters send you any number of bad things under the guise of being a fan. Some of the things they send can actually sell for a decent amount, like the future cube. I started looking forward to the hate mail after awhile, because it amused me to think that it was supposed to be an insult but just netted my already rich sim another 300 simoleons. Better gift than what the actual fans send a lot of the time.

I have a lot of world celebs in my original game -mainly actors and I think it’s one of the best packs for gameplay..Ive had sims do 24 hour streams-but they are vamps-so don’t really need a break🤦🏻‍♀️😂Gifts from fans have ranged from fruit cake to poop -and lots of letters -which I never bother opening 😂I hate the celeb walk -so always have them walk normally -let’s face it-it takes sims ages to do something anyways-with that walk it takes twice as long .Ive had the part where normal sims will dress like your celeb sim-it can get confusing 😂I usually use family members for my sims entourage ..I do lurv this pk -maybe you can tell 😂

For the outfit influencing perk, you have to hang out in public spaces long enough & other sims will change their outfits to match yours. I'm using the model mod, so when my model sim shows up to work the other models will change into her outfit, including the photographer after she takes my sim's picture. They won't just show up at your house wearing the outfit.

One thing about having a sim be famous with a negative reputation is that other sims will cheer when they do mean actions. Which was quite amusing when I had mine be cruel to her son because then things would happen like she'd yell at him and then the entire family, including him, would cheer.

Tip: 24 hour lifestream, use the drone when you are taking breaks, it won’t count as a break, so you get more done :)

Just as a tip, I’m pretty sure you can use the drones to do a 24 hour livestream, so you’re able to take care of all of your needs except bladder while on stream, that is the only way it seems at all possible to complete it omg it’s so difficult to do using the video station 😖🥴

One thing my sim got from a fan was a stinky fish or a empty plate from there meal. For podium you can find one in the city where the gym is its outside the gym but on that lot. The city one being the ones with all the apartments.

I really don't mind the skip audition perk. I'm usually not desperate for money and it gives me more time to play out other storylines with the sim and have them have a life than just work all the time. And I don't have to focus on having to carve out time for an audition. I usually don't care how much time passes between workdays, because I always have something I want my sims to do.
