I always theorized that Bella Bachelor was abducted by aliens as a kid and Mortimer tried becoming an astronaut in hopes of finding and bringing her back. Mortimer isn't athletic enough though so switched to scientist and cloned a new Belle ... but it wasn't the same.

I always hook my Goths up with a makeover. They're SUCH a hot mess of a family on so many levels!! I love sorting them out and seeing who the kids end up marrying. FYI There is an amazing kids/toddler park on the Gallery, can't remember the name of it or the creator offhand but I'll take note of it when I play later and drop a new comment here. It's AMAZING, you never have to go home LOL!

Ok it was driving me nuts not remembering the name so I had to fire up my game to go find it.... The park in the Gallery is called 'Toddlers&Kids DayCare Park' [sic] it's on a 40x30 lot and was uploaded by S_Summer1506 Sept. of this year. It was a lifesaver for the Too Many Toddlers Scenario, if it wasn't a legit park it'd almost be like cheating! LOL!! There IS one issue that I've found with it, there is a lawn chair blocking the exit of the tunnel the toddlers crawl through and the kids end up trapped, but you HAVE to have it for 'park' status. I just shrink and hide the lawn chair or put it on the roof and then the kids can get out fine. I also remove the center dinner table so sims don't have to walk all the way around to get to the toys.

I've always thought Bella and Mortimer reminded me of Morticia and Gomez Adams! I'm so glad I'm not the only one! I picture their story to be the same too, Mortimer being insanely head over heals in love with Bella, the same way the Gomez is for Morticia

This was honestly inspiring! I sort of copied the idea, and I also made clubs for Mortimer, Alexander and Cassandra. For Bella, she’s in a wine and gossip club with Eliza Pancakes, Mary Sue Pleasant, Nighat Caliente and Alice Spencer-Kim, plus some of my Homebrew Sims. For Mortimer, he’s in the Willow Creek Dad’s Club with Bob Pancakes, Darren Dreamer and Eric Lewis. For Cassandra, she’s in the Willow Creek Teen’s along with Dustin Broke, Dirk Dreamer and the Pleasant Sisters. And Alexander is in the Willow Creek Adventurers (a kids club lol) with several homebrew children and Alice Spencer-Kim-Lewis.

I'm trying to fix every household in the game (currently on the BFF Household trying to fix them more to line up with their MySims selves). Both of the Goth women (and Liberty Lee) have fixed skintones in my game as well; I gave the Goth women warm skintones to match their previous versions. I gave Mortimer his widow's peak back, I think I may have given Alexander the same hair you did, and for Cassandra I wanted her to keep her iconic ponytails (they're kinda like a lil wink at Wednesday Adams's pigtails, I think), but thought they should definitely be cuter, more edgy/gothy/fashionable; unfortunately, there are no appropriate ponytails that matched what she needs in CAS at the moment, so I had to go ahead and download some Maxis-match CC for it. During my remake I tried to keep as close to the lore and previous vibes for them as possible; for example, for Mortimer's party outfit I gave him a purple suit jacket as a throwback to his outfit in previous games, or for Alexander's hot-weather outfit I made it similar to his TS2 outfit (and replaced his glasses with rounder ones for all his outfits), or for Cassandra's formal outfit I gave her a dress that is reminiscent of her TS2 outfit (and for all her outfits I replaced her glasses with cute black horn-rimmed ones to match her previous vibes). I redid their house as well, and even in their home I gave Mortimer a small office with an insect collection (because in previous games he is stated to have a great interest in insects), gave Bella a cowplant to care for (also a throwback to previous games), put tombstones into their back garden, etc. I also went ahead and gave them a Burmese/Siamese cat and a big black dog; the dog has the exact same jacket as Mortimer (I called him Gomez), and the cat has a plaid black and grey dress that matches Cassandra's original TS4 skirt (I called her Wednesday). I also gave Alexander a squid, as a nod towards Pugsley Adam's pet octopus.

I feel like alex is kinda the least fav child and maybe the blue one is Cassie’s and there is no chair for him. OR it’s vise versa and it’s the case where the parents pay attention to the younger child and Cassie is the forgotten goth which is why she’s so gloomy and shy, she’s felt like she’s just in her mothers shadow and with a younger brother she’s even more left behind than before. Either way I feel like alex was unplanned which is why his room is the attic.

Great renovation. The Goth house lacks so much personality in my opinion. As you said, Alex's room does not look like a child's room. You gave him such a nice kid friendly space! And I love the book club area and kitchen. Much better use of space and so much more stylish. I just wished for a space for Mortimer where he can be a mad scientist...
