Yes, sometimes you get lucky and hear it on a blip if the windows are down, otherwise its silent. You have to be standing out in front of the car.

When the car hits oil over temp it goes into limp mode and nose dives - I’ve done it before, no issue on these passes.

It’s likely not needed in normal daily scenarios, but helpful during competition use or in very hot weather. So my opinion is situational.

@@MurphysLawGarageI had a Vortech supercharged 93 Notchback and I've never owned a screw blower, but is something like a Snow Performance Water/Methonol injection system something that will work on your blower. That helps cancel out bad air, or it did on mine, this was before E was available like today though. I ran VP 110 at the track. Gave most centrifugal blowers about 80'ish hp to the wheels.

Density Altitude - for drag racing it represents how oxygen dense the atmosphere is, among other factors. The higher the number the less power a car makes, the lower the number the more it makes +1000DA to -1000DA is like a 50hp shot of nitrous to a motor.

Lots of misinformation about this… Alex misrepresented this horribly based on aftermarket examples. The whipple stage 1 kit is now a Ford Performance spec option - fully tested and covered under the PT warranty. Go do your own research,

It’s impossible for you to make that estimate without knowing my car’s weight, and it actually indicates nearly 750whp on E30 for the 10.2 pass. The car dynoed at 705whp on 93.

This car runs very well I don’t get how 10 anything is not impressive to some but I know there are lots of cars running faster but it doesn’t make it slow just cause it’s easier now!! But I’ve seen you highlight your reaction time in this and other videos just so you know it doesn’t affect your time slip at all! It is simply a timer of how fast you react to the green light! You can sit there for 5 seconds then go and you will still run 10.39! Beautiful car sir!

Thanks, and yes I enjoy a good reaction time because you can beat much faster cars at the tree, but you can see in this video I was only concerned with tuning the suspension and left the tree alone.

Yea like the previous mustang. It isn't that 10s ain't impressive we've just seen this movie before. 2018s were going faster 6+ years ago with similar mods and you weren't held back by lack of tuning. People act like well it's "good enough" just making excuses for Ford making a shitty new mustang that isn't any better than the previous car and many will claim it isn't as good mostly because of the tuning situation. It's not the people don't think 10s is fast it's just not impressive compared to the previous gen. This car didn't improve like it should for an all new mustang if anything it took a step back and people still make excuses for it. Smh

@robvas on 93, yes it seems to be around 690whp based on the trap speed. We are getting on the dyno to confirm. On E30 though, it appears to have gone deep into the 700’s.

This guy is running in the ‘s 1/8 with a stage whipple. I’m running 7.30 1/8 in 24 GT that only has lighter wheels 325’ in back, lowering spring strut bar, resonator delete xipe and drop in k@n air filters. I did just order a stage 2 whipple kit I personally think the stage 1 is waste of money

My car ran 7.51 in the 1/8 and 11.59 in the 1/4 before the whipple on 275 street tires. There is always less variance in the 1/8th than the 1/4 due to the longer distance. What you are missing is im knocking on 9’s with a full powertrain warranty - something a stage 2 cant do. Imop if the marketing for the s650 was different it wouldn't have so many "haters". The car is basically a S550.2... It's performing that way so far as well. Without tuning being available, vendors and such have become youtubers on another level. Things would be different if vendors and such would settle down with their conclusions and predictions until it could actually be tested with aftermarket tuning. @commycomentor9695 I have a 2020 800+whp whipple car, I'm a fan of whipple and believe in what they can do. Gen 6 whipple seems to have improved as well. But never will I call a boosted coyote relying on boostane or E30 a long-term reliable situation. People/vendors endorsing that reliability is where a lot of the hate comes from

Im not sure where the confusion is here - the car doesn’t need octane boosting and is just fine without it to reach the rated HP. With motorsports we always look for an edge and I do so here by running E30 for more HP.

Stage2 cars in better air, yes - I happen to be good friends with a 2018+ stage2 owner who just barely touched 10.2 in -700DA. This generation seems to make slightly more power on equivalent stages and that makes sense considering the head redesign.

AND aftermarket tuning was always available people didn’t have to push the limits of a base tune for clout they just got a proper tune and parts for their setup. So just because you haven’t seen it don’t mean it couldn’t be done , you had options from out the gate on a gen 3
