Nice to see it Al, I went to one of the modern 1200hp 6 pinion torsens in my 1200hp 67 Camaro....and my god did it make it easier to steer under power than locker or clutch.... I was thinking early on id get a torsen for the on V Raptor when I had trouble staying straight ( thinking one side was putting down more than other and looking back on how torsen smoothed out the 67) but then I read " they suck for drag racing" with S550. Now I certainly don't want you to break but I'm super stoked you went to one and will be going to track like many other things you've tested for us....I dont feel you get enoufb credit for the information you've helped new guys to s550 out with by doing it

@@coyotecarguy2076 I wouldn't either but im so confused can't wait till you get it out there....when I went to high HP torsen on my 67 it locks both wheels perfectly its impossible for one to not put down exactly the same power as the other literally...and will go around corners without any "ratcheting" like my locker....it instantly made my car ( 1200hp) more stable...as you seen with your rear end CLUTCHES are what can put more out on one tire than the other not a torsen, i just figured maybe they are weaker on s550 or something? One thing for sure if you like i love it...if it holds your car it will hold mine and when I have trouble with my clutches, I'll go to one as well

@@coyotecarguy2076 Thanks for always replying Al. I thought your stock rear was either 3,15 or 3,31. my mistake!;-) As for the exhaust, I am with you on the noise. But aren't you a bit worried with melting a cat? also you are running much more backpressure with them, witch is never ideal.. I mentioned the "cat delete pipes" as they much more inexpensive then long tubes and much easier to install or swap back and worth with cats if that would be needed in regards to inspection. I have asked myself, what doesn't anyone offer like a H pipe, that is all build out of resonators. Don't you think that could work to lower the volume without really effect the exhaust flow?

Hey fran. . .. running 3.55's just like the old rear so no tune adjustment. . Chadi is set up pretty good with his home shop... . .Lol, That persuasion bar has seen a lot of Hits!!! This rear came out of a 2019 pp1 car with a 10R80 . . bolted right in. .

Coyote carguy I didn’t know you had the pp1 option package with the 355 gears. I thought you had the premium package base with the 315s. It’s a simple tune adjust if it’s gear change. If you had the 355s your gonna be all good but If you had 315s and went to 355s your 60 foot should improve some.

tominator. . . It's tough to find a used one that suites my needs perfectly. . most everybody says i should go with 3.15's . . . but i dont think i have enough power for that . . . i really wanted 3.31's. .. but a used 3.31 is from a manual car that has a different pinion flange. .. a 3.31 would be enough to keep the car from shifting into 7th gear at the end of the 1/4 mile . . . The rear i found was from a automatic car with the correct pinion flange, has 800 miles on it and is a pp1 rear. torsen diff, cast iron case but it's a 3.55 .. not exactly what i wanted but i must say this rear is silent and that makes me happy. .

@@coyotecarguy2076 That's the main thing, as long as it is healthy. I hope it works well for you and that orange beastie! For me, I am searching for another Terminator Cobra. I was the victim of an oil slick on Friday the 13th last month. I thought I would keep that dream car of mine for the rest of my days, but it's gone in the snap of a finger! Breaks my heart to think about it.

On another note. I did my diff swap, myself, from 3.15 to a 3.55 in my garage on jack stands and only used a regular car jack. Yeah. It’s pretty dangerous. Anyone attempting this swap in their garage definitely needs a second set of hands.
