Oh Mrs.Lori! You and Mr. Brown tickle me Soo much! I made my first herb and fruit vinegars back in 1978 when I first moved to Spokane, WA. I gave them as gifts to friends and family only to have them say “ what the f” do we do with these? So then i made a little cookbook-of family recipes.. made sure from then-on to attach tags with ideas for how to use/ enjoys homemade gifts! I ADORE your channel! Was married for 22 yrs- he dumped me for his younger secretary - met Rich we lived as partners for 20 Yrs- he passed in a tragic accident/ snow storm 4/11/21. You have No idea how much Joy and comfort your channel brings to me- Ill be 70 05/04/23- May the 4th be with you both :)

Hi Mrs. Lori. I got a tip from another KZbinr about turning the bottle or jar upside down to keep moisture out of your garlic and onion powders etc. and dry mixes. I started doing that and I can get thru a big jar of the onion and garlic powder, and it does not clump up from moisture. You and Mr. Brown have an awesome and blessed week. Stay safe and stay well. Love ya.

I have been freeze drying all of my broths, whether it be beef, chicken mushroom or vegetable broth it is so much more shelf stable, and I can use it anytime I want and just add a little water to reconstitute it. It is so much more flavor and that freeze dried broth. I’m excited to make some of the dry mixes with it

Also condensing down all of that broth into one large jar rather than 12 jars makes a big difference when it comes to the other items that need to go on the pantry shelves

I had a gallon of cider in my freezer. It started to explode a little bit times like oh great so I took it out and I was like what can I do with this just like you know what I can make a vinegar with it and I did and it smells amazing and I had a beautiful Scoby on it. I saved that Scoby so that I could have it as a starter for the next one I make.

Ms. Lori, I have a small story to tell. When I moved to the U.S. I never heard about cream of chicken before. Thanksgiving headed our way and I wanted to do the famous green bean casserole. I bought the canned cream of chicken, tossed it over the green beans according to the recipe and baked it and then… I tossed it right into the trash can. The way it looked and smelled I just couldn’t deal with it. When I came across your recipe of cream of something i tried it and since then it’s all I use when the recipe called for any cream of “something”. I got the luxury of having a freeze dryer and I freeze dry chicken, dehydrate mushrooms and celery and add it to my dry mix.. I can’t thank you enough for the recipe. The dry mix of cream of something is my favorite.

I am so happy to have found your channel. I haven't made apple vinegar in a few yrs and was looking for a refresher video. Well I feel like I struck gold with you. As a matter of fact I've got a pineapple sitting on the counter ready to be cut, so I'm gonna try that too. That would probably be a good thing to have on hand during cold and flu season. The Bromalain helps with sinus congestion and evidently the highest concentration is in the core. Also like your dry mix recipe's and will be putting up some of those as well. Soup season is upon us here in Maine and I have a pot on the stove almost every day. Thank you, Mrs Lori. I'll be browsing through more of your video's and enjoying them all for sure. You are a gem, take care of yourself and Mr Brown.❤🙏

Good evening Ms Lori & Mr Brown, I have never tried to make vinegars or a vinegarette. After watching you and Three Rivers Homestead in Ohio, I have decided to give it a try with the waste from the peaches. I asked Siri to find a Recipe but the people there added a bunch of other ingredients and a lot of sugar. So, I am so glad to see this video from you. I feel much more confident having it come from a wonderful Trusted Source, that is of course You! Have you ever made a dressing using the peach peels and pits? I wish I could handle the heat and humidity that is back East but I am too spoiled here in the Beautiful State of Washington! You would never want to leave if you were to get to visit this area! No Humidity like you have in Arkansas and the Eastern Seaboard. I always felt like I was breathing under water when we were stationed back in Virginia over 35 years ago. I wish like so many other people, that we could be neighbors. You and Mr Brown have got to be the nicest and most Loving people that God has put on this Earth! I love to hear Mr Brown read the scriptures and discuss them afterward. I have not got the confidence to start my own KZbin Channel like you, you have such a beautiful soul and make everyone feel at ease! I don’t think I could do that. I just want to say Thank you both And especially to Thank Our Heavenly Father for putting us all here at this time together. It may not be the best time for our country, or for the world, but getting to see you and so many KZbin channels that Praise God publicly is a Tremendous Joy at least for myself. Thanks again, Jilli from Washington State

Loved this video. Excuse to finally use bone broth in powder form. Lori and Mr. Brown, we love you here in Houston, but Arkadelphia and Hot Springs are my home places and stomping grounds. Glad you are enjoying your mug.😘 You bless our hearts and taste buds with every show. I look forward to each one!!!! Cannot wait for garden shows. Making vinegar asap! I collect old cookbooks and have many that you own. In one I made THE BEST Banana pie by boiling condensed milk in the can to make caramel for filling. I think my book is in a box in attic as when we moved it got misplaced. Have you made this delicious pie before using this method? Love you guys and keep 'em coming. Jill

Miss Lori, I watched this twice already! Great video! I’ve only made mock Lipton onion soup so far, but want to make the dry gravies and others. We tried making pineapple vinegar two times, both times using pineapple chunks. Khan yeast was a big issue. We’re going to try using a core next time. Thank you! I really enjoy learning from you! Matthew 5:16 - “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is heaven.”

It is so good to get your revised recipes for smaller amounts. Illinois is also pretty humid, especially in the warmer months. This will be very convenient to have on hand without having to run to the grocery store. Thanks
