I have a question for you regarding the "overflow" switch float itself. As you know the small rod that connects "float" to the lever to the micro switch, goes through a round opening. This opening for me is allowing a small amount to water the flow to the floor. I have seen the water come down through this opening. The float should not be allowing the water to get high enough to get throght that hole. Splashing should also not allow water to get under the float. I have checked the micro switch and I can hear it clicking on and off when i lift the float. The float is free to move. The gasket under the float is secure. I think this is a design issue. Never saw it before because I think the sound insulation was catching it and it was so little that it never got to the floor. Have you seen this before and if so how did you fix it? Thanks

What should the ohm reading be on these switches? I also see you don't answer questions so this should be interesting......

It's a microswitch. Not sure if it's NO (Normally Open) or NC (Normally Closed) but the resistance should be either infinite (Switch Open) or close to 0 Ohms (Switch closed) and switch between the two when operated.
