VERY helpful... but is there something I'm missing? Why couldn't this have been done without removing the door? I need to swap the latches myself. What basic Whirlpool model is this? For us, it's Kenmore Elite and it hasn't been easy trying to match the correct parts with the model. This is one of the first vids that even shows me that this is a very close model to the one we have. Thanks!!

Do you take all the screws out? I don't see you removing all screws in video.

nobody shows how to do the other half of the latch on the dryer itself half the job doesnt really help
