Hameed, thank you for the fine video and explanation. I will be servicing my two-year old nightmare dryer next week. I've also read that you should check for lint in the water pump during service, I'll check mine.

Thanks for posting this video. I have the same dryer and used your video for a guide. It took 2 hours and 15 minutes. The dryer works great now.

I have same unit and it also has an issue of cooling down the motor. Just not enough air movement inside despite the aux fan. So the motor stops spinning at the middle of cycle (thermal protection) and since there is no speed sensor the mother board doesn’t recognize the stopped motor and continues the cycle. The solution for that is to knock out closest to the front round tap on the left side panel (if you look at the dryer from the front. There are two of them and you can see them on the video at 1:42). It will improve the air movement inside and the motor will be properly cooled.

Great Video thank you for sharing!!! I'm sooooo thrilled that we are moving in such a high tech for such a basic need . I'm getting my tools ready to rake in 💰🤑🤑🤑. Unbelievable how they (manufacturers ) coming up with crazy insane way to feed off the people. Sad for the ordinary folk that will have to maintain and spend exorbitant amount of money but profitable for techs. It is what it is I guess . Cool concept but holy macaroni!!!👹

Excellent video sir 😮, just today I too k a flashlight and looked at condenser coil behind the pullout filter and had same clogged view . This is after a years use so typical of new technologies trying to save the planet actually turn out to be expensive disasters . I’m sure the bill to tear apart her dryer and clean it far surpassed any energy savings and I’ll tell you already that by time I do what you just did will be the one and only as a resistant old style electric is going to replace it. Typical complete engineering failure throughout its air handling ducts ! Thks again

Thank you. You have made an excellent repair video. I hope (in a couple of years) the retailer will have a repair man that can be contracted out to do this all day job. (I'm purchasing one today)

Hameed, I ahve a similar problem. After 3 years of use and cleaning both filters after every load, there is still an accumulation of lint on the evaporator coil. Since the only path for dryer air to the evaporator is thru two filters thru a sealed enclosure, I figured that dryer air must be getting past the filter seal on the secondary filter. The green gasketing material on the secondary filter is cobby and dosent seal properly. I found some very narrow speaker gasketing foam (1/4” wide x 1/8” thick), I had left over from a stereo install and applied that in a continuousl strip around the back side sealing edge on the filter box that seals against the white material of the safety screen that protects the evaporator fins from damage. After doing this the filter locks much more securely against the screen face and I believe will greatly reduce lint bypassing the filter box. Time will tell.

These whirlpool dryers allow for fine lint and fine dust to get by the filters no matter what you do! That pull out filter allows for lint to go through making this dryer a nightmare over the years.

@@condor5635 LG finally looks like they have a winner 27 inch heat pump with a self cleaning condenser coil system. So there is no chance of lint accumulation and buildup! Lets see long term if it still works. Game Changer.

Thank you for your excellent video! You don't need to apologize, you've done such a great service explaining everything. Can't say it enough: Thank you THANK YOU! $25 part for the pulley, yes, but looks like $hundreds to dig down to the point where it can be replaced. Great tips!

Remind me again why anyone would want this type of dryer? Simple required expected maintenance requires taking apart the entire unit to clean it. Extended run times. Yeh that’s nice. I’ll stick with my old school dryer that requires minimum maintenance.

Thanks for posting! Great tips and tricks! Had to purchase a ventless dryer for our apt, looks like a long day to clean this thing. I'll be ready!

Great video! I'm currently working on the same issue. Additionally, customer complained about some strange noise. Turned out, their tenants at some point did not insert a lint screen and a foreign object got down to a blower wheel and broke off several blades and damaged many other blades. Had to order new blower wheel as well as new drive belt, support rollers and few shafts.

Front panel is held by 2 screws , one from right Hand side front other is left rear almost impossible to pull out I forgot to catch it on the video . Or forgot to mention it .I m talking about front plastic cover the second one after first one is removed .
@christophgeisler48932 ай бұрын
When you remove the part at 13:15, that should have a screen on it as well. You can see the imprints. Looks like it was remove in the previous cleaning attempt.

I recommend using a steamer to loosen the lint and then use the air compressor to blow it out

Hameed in europe the whole compressorsystem and motor etc are in a seperate base plastic. I dissasemble the sides remove cables and then lay the whole unit on its side id the compressor lines allow this other wise i just tilt it a little bit and use spray water. Done multiple siemens bosch here whirlpool doesnt have this problem and they work well!

Blomberg also has separate sealed system that you can take off completely to clean it . This is just a shiddy design on whirlpool ventless dryer .
