These are great! Very useful. Keep in mind, though.... HD dryers have a sensor telling the machine if the air flow is slow in exiting. This will cause the temp to go down as a precaution. I got a new house with an HD. I put one of these vents on the back, as with all of my previous dryers. Eventually I noticed that the dryer wasn't getting very hot. Finally, after taking 2 hours to dry a load of towels.... I called a repairman. he told me that there is an air flow sensor in most HD units. Mine sensed a slower flow due to the sharp turn, and automatically lowered the temp. He put a normal vent tube on it and I had my hot air back! it is not a danger with the air flow, while using the unit shown in the video. It's the high tech idiots who have to add all the BS on the new appliances. So if your temp goes down a bit after installing one, take it off, put a normal one on (with dryer pulled away from wall) and see if there's a difference... before calling a $100/visit from repairman.
