I have the same problem. There is a separate plastic piece that I am not sure if I need or not.

@@ardithtennant1237 I had a hard time figuring out how to attach my produce preserver unit and filter, too. A miracle happened today! I found it!! Mine is located on the right side front inside the produce drawer. The unit itself simply slides onto the plastic piece at that location. Hope this helps!

When I actually "popped" the bubble, it burst, and brightly coloured liquid comes out!!! Clearly, you should not pop the bubble but to flatten it! What I'm supposed to do now?!
