They had a beef with G.L.O.S.S. (a transgender band on the same label as Whirr) on Twitter and got booted from their label for it. One member, Nick Bassett, joined the band Nothing, everyone else disappeared. It's really a shame, they shaped modern shoegaze more than any other contemporary band, and continue to grow in popularity even all these years after their split. #freewhirr #freewhirl
