They were a good addition. But I dislike how they made Beerus’ god power reachable so quickly. I really wish they worked their way up to SSJ God or Blue level until they finally reach it in the TOP or maybe an arc just before the TOP. SSJ Blue became a commonplace for transformations and any enemy they came up against until the TOP could casually rival SSJ Blue God power, which made it seem insignificant.

Which is funny, because I've also seen people complain before about how intelligent he was in GT. Difference being that unlike Super dumbing him down, GT didn't really make him smarter than he already was. The writing just put his battlefield intelligence more at the forefront of how he acted, and talked. Making him state observations that had prior been kept as implied, or demonstrated through his actions instead of words.

@@eobardthawn6903 I do prefer Super over GT, but that heavily boils down to the pacing. GT felt way too rushed for me in a lot of places. At least when Super has something significant happening, it usually lasts long enough for it to actually settle in, and give impact and significance to what's happening. Whereas with GT, it always felt like by the time an arc was just starting to gain traction, it was already over and moving on to the next. Especially with Super 17, and how most of the Shadow Dragons were dispatched in just one or two episodes.
