Thank you! He started out worse... a sniveling wannabe, then transformed into all his worst nature - I based him in part on a character named Patrick... (I forget the last name) - he was a notorious 18th Century highwayman in Ireland - he was known for being particularly and unnecissarily brutal in his depredations - he eventually hanged

Uurrrrgh!!! Luke, my brother, you consistently manage to exceed expectations... and those are invariably of the highest order. Working on Lacy and a few standalones. One is WW2 and based on an anecdote my Dad told me about the trip on The Queen Mary. She was a troop ship for the duration of the war. He was out on deck for recreational rotation and saw a dark figure pushed through one of the portal windows on the lower decks where the "colored" troops were berthed. Scuttlebutt informed him that a soldier was missing and there were hints that it had to do with gambling. Dad said that gossip is what prevented them from going stir crazy on the voyage... that and the bluster of young men facing an unsure future in armed conflict. The characters are very different and based on extrapolation - but what if the murder was not committed by fellow troops? #teamfear 🐻🍀💙

The "bite" was as much a nightmare / ghostly / spiritual incident - Padraigh later wondered whether he'd simply slept at an akward angle - note that there was no open wound - I promise (from personal experience) that bite wounds are dibilitating and don't clear up quickly. It'd be a good Ryan George moment to lampoon : )
