You are saying different notes and playing different notes and strings ....please write scripts from next time. Thanks for the lesson , I figured most of it by watching you play.

At 4:24, it’s hard to understand your explanation of picking. I can’t tell if you’re stopping and explaining the hammer on or if that’s the next note, and it seems you hit the 4th way more than you explain

This is just Constructive criticism, but I really feel like you’d gain more subs if you’d also put tabs on screen. Even just basic ones, (b3 b2,) just cuz I know how it can be sometimes thinking that everything is explained, but sometimes it got a little confusing if you were just saying this is the advanced picking, or continuing on with the basic. That’s it, otherwise great video

@@LearnGuitarFavorites i totally understandnamd that's pretty amazing. To say the least. I'm okay at having a musical ear. But I'm no where near as accurate as you. I really need some help with music theory and understanding playing lead independently. I'm starting college pretty soon and I'm gonna major in some sort of guitar degree. It's just been really hard to learn from anyone dealing with understanding theory. I know alot. But there's alot that I don't understand. You have any ideas or suggestions that may help?

I like a lot of brad's songs, there are other sad country songs but something about this one I think the duet they do just makes it almost haunting like. The music video adds another layer to it, a lot of brad's videos are kind of funny happy this is only one i can think of that is other way. To me sad country song this is probably the first one that pops in my mind.

The lesson seems easy to follow. Only issue is during the intro you mention to go 5th string, 4th string! 2nd string, 1st string but when you first played it you went 5,3,2,1. So it’s a bit confusing.
@LearnGuitarFavorites3 жыл бұрын
Sorry it was confusing. Sometimes I play things differently from one time to the next, so you could play either way and pick the one you like.

Thanks for the response. Okay cool. I just wanted to make sure so I wasn’t playing it wrong. I’ve only been playing for about a week so I doubt I’ll get it down anytime soon anyways but it’s fun to try.

Nice, well hang in there. I do my best but sometimes I don't explain as well as I could and sometimes it gets confusing for me too. Sometimes it's not easy to explain what I'm playing.
