The Woodford DO has been our favorite for a long time, but I have been impressed by the Cedar Ridge. What batch do you have? They just released Batch 4 in November at $50. The Double Barrel Rye is a couple notches above the bourbon. They are doing some phenomenal things with finishing single malts. On a tangent, Writer’s Tears offers a double barrel Irish that is very good.

My favorite from Old Forester is the Coopers' Craft 100 proof with chiseled barrels, $30 retail. Made in Louisville Kentucky. They also make their own barrels, where they got the name.

At a whiskey festival a few years ago someone told me "You HAVE to try the Sagamore Double Oaked Rye." I told them I don't like double oaked and I don't like ryes but I'd humor them, and went to the Sagamore booth. Turns out I like double oaked and I like ryes.

Starlight juice is some great finished whiskey. Double Oaked and Tokaji store pics are the best. I keep on my bar.
