There’s an international version of green label called island green, that’s very peaty. I haven’t had it in years, because to remember really enjoying it.

This was an interesting one. I got floral, fragrant pears, peat and a low ABV. Very simple but lovely to just drink without thought. I've had this in bars but never owned a bottle.

I was also thinking Cardhu when you mentioned & then perhaps the Glenmo- Tale of something perhaps. I'd be disappointed if the Advent calendar was going to be all Johnny Walkers.

Yep... both a bit underwhelming. Everything else has been solid-to-great though... so that's 80% solid-to-great to 20% underwhelming so far. We'll see how those numbers look after 14 more days.
