As someone how has been to the Academy multiple times, you can just show up and walk the grounds. They have a bar, so go and get a dram. I got to meet Daniel and go to the vault by taking a small, one hour class (do recommend). The distillery is rather small, so I am not sure that they do tours. Plan a trip, see Austin and drive down to the Academy. No reservations required (unless you want to meet someone, then different story).

I am seeing that this is a blend from single malts matured in American oak ex-bourbon barrels. It is non-chill filtered. I can't find anything about the sources of those whiskies that have been blended to create this.

The tape/adhesive on the bottles could have been done much differently without being difficult nor time consuming....big fail on whoever's job that was...just sayin'...

I'm pretty sure in one of the previous episodes Dave said that he gave the person who did it the tape to use when he gave them the task. So he did it to himself lol.
