Cricut currently offers 3 different machines at three different price points and capabilities:

You do need special mats for this size and you can't cut as wide of decals as you can on the machine I showed. I have a Joy, but I use it as a companion to my Explore Air 2.

This is awesome! Been scared to try the vinyl thing and there's so much I want to make! Wondering if you used the opaque vinyl on the wedding stuff? Wanting to make something using that. Please let me know as it is hard to find! Ugh! Kinda nervous to use it. I get more x d up measuring and put it in the design space. Have real hard time. I think I just need confidence! Makes me nervous! Not sure why, you can make lots of stuff just this is strange to me.

I used both matte and shiny vinyl on those projects. And you can totally do it! It takes some practice, but you'll make some beautiful things :)

I don't know if you noticed but on your first project you wanted 10x3. You didn't unlock it so when you put 3 for height, it changed your width to 12.

You make it look so easy. I got a Cricut Maker for Christmas. No power adapter in box so had to buy one. It is out of the box and in a carrying case I purchased. Now I just need to get my laptop fixed....somehow my password got changed and I'm locked out. So frustrating. Love it finally a DIYer that doesn’t jus do Farmhouse or Dollar Tree DIYs.... I love Dollar Tree I’m so poor a $5 item is considered luxury to me however a person can only tak so much farmhouse DIYs done in every way by everyone possible that u start hate that decor same w dollar tree it’s great that it’s cheap n all but seriously when u recreate the diy it looks cheap or breaks soon after!!! I got a Silhouette in November to try and make etched glass baking dishes and a trifle dish for Christmas gifts but I got extremely discouraged when I couldn’t get the vinyl weeded without stretching out the design and letters. :( But youve inspired me to give it another try!

I recycle candle jars, spray paint them, and put wording on them with my Cricut! I hate to pitch them...some are so nice with lids! I did bee rolling pins...they turned out so cute! I used a beehive and bees, painted the rolling pins yellow and black and tied a black checked ribbon on one of the handles!

Hi, thank you for this video. Will the vinyl come off after time? Also, is it waterproof?

Hi there - permanent vinyl is waterproof, however I would only suggest you hand wash it vs. putting it in a dishwasher. That will for sure pull off some of the pieces. The key is to go gentle with not too hot of water if you must clean it. For the signs, you can add a polycrylic over the top if you're worried about peeling, but I haven't had any issues with mine peeling off :)

It does, but you sometimes need to rough up your surface (I use sand paper) to give it something to stick ro
