Great selection! Is there any significant reason quite a few whiskeys start with Glen?

Glen means Valley in Gaelic. A valley is created by rivers and to produce whisky many water is needed so distilleries were placed close to rivers. Glenlivet - > the valley of the river livet, etc.

Have you heard abote some reely bad caskes with hilandpark 18. I heard it's a reely big difrence on the qualety on the wiskey

I vouch for the highland Park 12 and glenmorangie which I tasted recently. Very affordable and good. Bowmore and dalmore are always high quality as well. If you have plenty of money get the glendronach.

Agree on everything but Dalmore really , seriously try balblair 1990 arran 14 glendronach 18 dailvuine 16 and please lagavulin 16 and glegoyne 25

Highland Park 12 year IS AWSOME as is the Glenmorangie 12 year old. Cheers!
