"Yukon Jack is a taste born of hoary nights when lonely men struggled to keep their fires lit and cabins warm. Surprisingly smooth at 100 proof." Back in the '80s the description impressed me just as much as the liquor. Loved this stuff. It's been quite some time. It's time for another bottle.

tastes like sugared lemon added to their whiskey. Bought a mini bottle today out of curiosity. The bottle didn't say it was a liqueur, just saw the 100 proof.

the colour and sweetness come from Corn. it's a corn whiskey. Btw there's a drink called the Yulkon sour toe, it's yulkon jack with a severed human toe!

WE have been drinking YJ since the mid-70's...even got the t-shirt! LOL. Certainly not a premium drink but has an infinite number of uses as a mixer. If you drink it you will NEVER be able to stand Southern Comfort again. SC tastes like cough syrup after a hearty intro to Yukon J.
