A very mature and considered tasting. SRV5 is run as a fractional blending / solera type system where a 1000L oak vat is used for blending with 2/3 being removed for bottling and 1/3 is left as the base for the next batch. I'm told that Clynelish, Glen Ord and a touch of Caol Ila make the backbone of this recipe.
