The 8 year old is just as good as the 16, just different. Certainly not rough! Not over-priced either.

the 8 year old was also chill-filtered!! 48% abv and chill-filtered!!! what the heck Diageo?!?!?! This company really needs to get with the program... impeccably crafted my arse. Impeccably chill-filtered and stripped of intrinsic quality should be their tagline. maybe impeccably geared towards ice-and-tumbler drinkers. I'm sure those offerings are the real deal but their bread and butter is unnecessarily post treated.

Jeez calm down, before Ralfy mentioned chill filtration nobody cared, you even copied his way of saying it by adding intrinsic.. Horst on the other hand said there was no noticible difference between unfiltered or filtered.
