I gave up on Talisker a long time ago. I visited Torabhaig last year and picked up a standard Allt Gleann. Very promising for a young malt.

Thanks for the very informative review Jason, I will have to try something from this distillery. My fav talisker was the 57° North, which was not at all sanitized like so much of the current range.

I really like the Talisker Distillers Edition. The Amoroso Sherry finish does it for me.

I do prefer Torabhaig Batch Strength over causal Alt Glean. Never tried C'non Na Moine. Some time ago I did like Talisker 10YO however now it's pale in comparison to Torabhaig. The Skye it's not impressive either and didn't had any other expressions (pricing might have some influence here)
