The New Mexican flag has the zia symbol on it the red symbolizes the sun and to the zia people which are native to here they believe that the number four is very sacred as many people do but yea us New Mexicans take a lot of pride in the zia symbol I would say

Y'know, you *can* find root beer on Amazon UK. Also, Rob's Root Beer Review is a blog written by a Brighton resident, and there's a list of UK root beer sellers on it. ATM, Dominion Root Beer is £1.39/355ml bottle at beersofeurope, Soda Folk is £1.25/330ml can direct from them, or £1.10 per for a 24-pack. Plus shipping, so they're are going to be kinda pricey, but OTOH you don't have to wait forever for more. And both AFAICT are fairly high-end stuff, not Barq's or A&W.

If you ever get the chance, you'll have to try Barq's Rootbeer. It's my favorite here in the U.S.! I think it has more of a kick. Less of a sugary taste and more of the root taste, I guess you could say. Boylan's rootbeer is also great. It's made with cane sugar.

You can buy root beer from all the major supermarkets in the UK. Just not ones that have certain levels of sodium benzoate (E211 preservative) it seems. All to do with EU/UK laws on the use of "E numbers".

EU regulations on sodium benzoate are much tighter, root beer isn't popular overseas so the US bottlers have generally not bothered to make an EU-acceptable recipe.
