I do have an idea. I have a 2 year old myself, and anything that can make him calm and pliant for over 4 minutes is a big deal. He recently discovered Yo Gabba Gabba (whichis like crack for kids) and that works- but I hate using it because it turns him into a zombie, and it makes my brain hurt.

Why is it terrible timing? It sounds perfect for me! I'm thrilled to hear you wrote a paper about this, I absolutely adore this poems, and personally feel that it's one of the most beautifully erotic pieces of liturature ever written. It's really magical to me, and it's great to speak with someone else who clearly loves it as much as I do. Also, I did NOT know that about the coin/ purse thing, but I find it somewhat unsurprising- kooky brits. Thanks for the knowledge!

I think i'll have get this book..i love this kind of stuff,i've a book by brian froud called;the goblin companion..it tells you if you about goblins living in your house & the symptoms of there meddling,like screws coming out for no reason,or you trip on your own pant leg etc..it even has a disclaimer haha...brian froud does amazing fairy art!,i was lucky to have been given a fairy book early in my life & really had an impacted on my art..he's even got a fairy tarot ;)..thanks again

Aw definately! The imagery, the language and the symbolism is full of passion and erotic images! It is clearly not a poem meant for children, but it is so well-written and tells a good ghost story well!

As far as sleeping aides for kids- oh man- you gave me a great idea. You should record **yourself** reading his favorite stories on a little tape player or mp3 player so he can listen to them. I bet he'd love that! I know I would have Hell, I would now) There's nothing like mom's voice- I bet you have a lovely one.

My favorite too! It's so...... erotic? I know that sounds weird, but it's really kind of sexy to me- like, dangerous and passionate and exuberant. It always makes my heart beat faster when I read it!
