SA’s decision to pick you up was literally the best decision they could have made, you’re nasty with it and your vibe is great big ups homie!

@@SnowboardingExplained I feel the same way. I was so hooked on SA for a long time and then I kind of just lost interest, but now, I am excited about snowboarding all over again thanks to your coaching and inspiration! JP Walker was always my favorite boarder, but now I think I might have a new one! You da man!

I'm trying to learn how to ride rails, you make it look way too easy. At 59 I don't bounce like I used to..... Thanks for the tour and keep yourself safe! 😃👍❤🏂 Randy

We are working on a new rail series that should make rails make a lot more sense and be a lot safer to learn!!!
@MidwestSteeze9 күн бұрын
Highly recommend their jib training board and rail combo. You'll learn what you need to at home and can take that confidence to go try it on the snow. Also, impact shorts/pants with a pair of foam knee+shin guards so you're still mobile will let you take a few extra hits. Ain't no shame in padding up. Good luck!

I have an issue on "kicky" jumps, where I sometimes rotate too far forward during the arch of the jump, so that my nose is almost digging in to the landing when I land. What would you say tends to be the problem then?
@SnowboardAddiction9 күн бұрын
That happens when you absorb the take off. The kickier the jump the more you actually need to push off of it.
@Jjsssssss9 күн бұрын

Hahaha definitely not something anyone should make a habit of doing! Whistlers jumps change day to day, but they are much more forgiving than other resorts!

Hey Taevis, I feel like you were going too fast on those features and jumps (except the last two jumps). I totally agree that most of the time speed is your friend, but too much speed can put you out of control and balance. I feel like for someone at your level, you should be able to ride those features with so much more control and steeze if you just dial that speed back a little! Good riding anyway! 👍
@SnowboardingExplained8 күн бұрын
For sure hahaha. I usually mentally count how long to speed check. So talking actually complete messes up my speed check flow😂 Combine that with hitting features I’m not warmed up on and the speed is gonna be harder to control. And if there’s one thing I learned from my jumping, it’s that you really don’t wanna knuckle if your goal is to land something first try haha Will work on hitting the sweet spots better next year, thanks for the feedback:)
