Absolutely agree I had a 03 Sonoma that was one of the biggest piles of shit ever but it was my first self bought truck, first manual, went on my first real date in it I had some real sentimental attachment to that pile of rust and I actually cried when it went to the scrapyard but she wasn't safe anymore and i couldn't save it ... The premise behind it is awesome, the fact that he got a brand new truck out of it. But I can speak from experience of having a car that’s very sentimental to me how he probably felt. I still got my first car, it’s a 2001 Malibu that my momma got back in 2012 and handed it down to me in 2016. But even before that my great uncle who we got it from bought it new. If someone crushed that car like that I would be so heartbroken. Even if you gave me a brand new car I don’t want a brand new car. I want my Malibu, that’s why I still drive it and cherish it the way I do. It’s literally a $500 car but It has infinite sentimental value. All I’m saying is sometimes it’s not about having something new and nice. Good video though.

I was touched by this. It's not about the truck but the fact that someone would want to bless another in such a manor. I didn't invest in building relationships like this ever.
