11:23 this is actually supossed to be easily foldable. It's called the "kreukelzone" in Dutch (don't know the English) word and it is a form of passive protection. It works as a sort of demper for the force that is put on the car during a crash.

When the hilux was in the US it was known as the Toyota Pickup and had a good un up until maybe mid 90s. My first vehicle was a 94 Toyota Pickup 4x4 and i can say... they were indestructible. Every week i was doing something to it either going off roading or accidently getting air time at a friends dirt track. Not that extream since im from Mississippi but i loved it!

In Germany basically no one mods their car because it will be bad for insurance and the guarantee will immediately be removed if you mod.
@emperorsascharoni95775 ай бұрын
@@Hamstr_Games No it’s legal to mod but most people want to sell their car and get a new one every 3 years or so. If you mod it you lose resell value and your gewährleistung (state mandated guarantee) that you have for the first 2 years. Sometimes you even have 5 years contractual guarantee if you let the dealer do an inspection every year so you’d lose that too.

There's a reason I've had the same Toyota Tacoma since I was 16. I'm 30 now, and my baby is nearly indestructible. Only ever had one thing go wrong. It was the A/C, from a parking lot hit and run. That hit shoved everything backward, and still everything worked perfect for almost a year. Then only the air system was damaged. I love my perfect lil' truck 🙆♀️

I have a newer “high-lux” that I use like crazy here in the countryside of Brazil for almost 5 years. I drive super fast in very bad conditions dirty roads to visit the farms and the thing even doesn’t make a squeaky sound or vibrates at all. Looks and sounds like a brand new car. It is not for less that it's the favourite truck for terrorists/militia in the Middle East. Also, the Hilux is a really small truck.
