If you're talking about LEDs in reflector housings, there is no "angling them properly" to not blind people because they're not designed for that much light. You have to aim that shit at the ground and have your truck cross-eyed to not blind people with those lights so yeah, the rant is 100% deserved. A lot of these LED headlights people buy online, despite the packaging, are not DOT approved but actually illegal according to the NHTSA: "There are currently no LED headlamp replaceable bulbs that meet federal safety standards. NHTSA is aware of illegal retrofit kits that are being sold to consumers and works closely with US Customs and Border Protection to prevent shipments containing these non-compliant headlamp bulbs from entering the United States. NHTSA continuously researches emerging technologies with the potential to enhance roadway safety_ So yeah, idiots with LEDs in reflector housings deserve to have their lights smashed out with baseball bats. At least flip a few extra burgers and get a projector headlight housing.
