I was there the day it happened. I was stuck in the line of cars trying to get into town from Winter Park. Drove right through the destroyed city after it was all over to get home, and saw the dozer in the ground. Then we saw it in the parking lot where they stored it until they tore it apart. I always figured Cody was a heavy equipment operator in the past until this episode lol. Once i saw he was afraid of tipping the dozer. Then i knew he was never an operator, not for any extended period of time anyway. Over 18 years I’ve been in a few pretty sketchy situations but after awhile you learn that you nearly have to fall off of a cliff sideways to flip a dozer.

Nobody that actually lived there has any sympathy towards this guy. He was the local asshole that thought he could do what he wanted and got his ass shut down. KZbins comments have really gotten terrible, I mean they were never perfect but like, people don't actually comment relevant things or original stuff. 60% Bots/spammers 20% copied comments for likes 10% weird AI generated stuff 10% original comments. I think it's incredible you got something so historic, even if it's not something most would want to have, I think it's absolutely worth keeping and hanging up somewhere. I think this whole Killdozer series is a neat idea, some say bad taste, I say fuck what they think. Keep doing what you want to do, and have fun doing it. Keep up the fantastic work guys.

I think you're right that it's good to keep history alive, but I don't think WD got all their facts straight before trying to be a history channel so they come off sometimes as idolizing him. He negotiated in bad faith and didn't take any of the generous offers for reconciliation of his problems. It's a good video series, but they need to rethink how they portray this man who almost became a mass murderer.
